# TRADE Token

1\. **What is TRADE Token?**

TRADE is the in-house utility token of the Polytrade platform. These tokens are used as the key payment and reward instrument within the Polytrade ecosystem.

These are ERC 20 tokens. ERC20 is a standard for fungible tokens created on the Ethereum blockchain network.

2\. **Uses of TRADE Token**

Use cases of TRADE tokens are as follows:

&#x20;   **a)** Governance of Polytrade platform through validated holders\
&#x20;  **b)** Staking rewards\
&#x20;  **c)** Reduced interest rates for sellers for staked TRADE tokens\
&#x20;  **d)** Invoice discounts for buyers if settlement is done on the Polytrade platform\
&#x20;  **e)** TRADE token rewards for service providers for participating on the platform
