# Polytrade ID

## Overview

***Polytrade ID is a digital identity issued to organizations that wish to interact with our products and services.*** Currently, organizations are required to sign up to our platforms using their email and enter their information separately for each platform. This results in difficulties in tracking their transactions and mapping all documents uploaded to their identity.

<mark style="color:purple;">As part of the Polytrade 2.0 ecosystem, Polytrade ID is a solution that addresses these issues through the use of smart contracts.</mark>

## Goals

**The primary goals of Polytrade ID are as follows:**

* Assign on-chain identities to organizations that wish to interact with our products and services.
* Map organizations' transactions and documents on all of Polytrade's platforms to their identities. This will ensure a seamless and efficient experience for our clients.
* Offer a smoother and faster experience to our clients, with minimal input required for registration and profile creation.

By achieving these goals, Polytrade ID will help to streamline the process of interacting with our ecosystem, providing an improved experience for all our clients.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://polytrade.gitbook.io/rwa-marketplace/features/polytrade-id.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
